Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

2.0

Meeeh. I am struggling not to be too shady and disrespectful, so I'm just going to say that never in my life did I use SparkNotes for book annotations, until this. And surprisingly, I do not feel guilty at all. Carice's Ted Talk at Emory would have been enough to understand the moral and purpose of sharing Chris's story; I don't think Krakauer's work inspired or enlightened me in any way. I wanted to enjoy this, I really did. Especially now that schools are really paying attention which books should be included in their curriculum... I feel like someone was in a very bad mood when they picked this one.
The only reason why it does not receive 1/5 stars is because it was short.
