This book might be a murder mystery... but it's more about friendship, family, and finding community. The characters are so lovable, and it's such a fun read! I most appreciated that the description of domestic violence was very subtle, but included major elements: isolation, financial abuse, traditional gender roles, emotional violence. The characters weren't the most developed, but I would still recommend this fun murder mystery!
