Americanah is a new classic. Beautifully written with complex characters who are both relatable and interesting. Very interesting insight as well from a “NAB” on race in America. I first read it when it came out, and just finished rereading it. There are a lot more Nigerian and Ghanian authors published in America now, but this was the novel that really paved the way and opened America’s eyes.
