Beyond Ecstasy
by Kit Rocha
As we wait for the war to begin we follow Jeni and Hawk as they dance around one another. Jeni is a seasoned sub, and while she is attracted to Hawk she has no idea how he feels about her, but Hawk is a brand new Dom and doesn't exactly start off on the right foot after months of watching her, the first time he kisses her he asks her to wear his collar.
His naivete is sweet since he grew up on the communes wear he's basically related to every female in some way or another, but he's been with the O'Kane's long enough that he could have asked questions about how things really work instead of assuming he knew.
Watching him learn how to accept his urges and learn how to fulfill hers without really hurting her was amazing, but you also see them stumble hard. I think they communicate the best out of every couple in this series when they aren't trying to confine their relationship, or being kidnapped, etc... When the war starts and they have to make sacrifices it's painful and heart warming to watch it unfold.
