First I've read in this series, light, mindless, mind-candy, but OK for plane or treadmill reading when one cannot take notes or think deeply about something more substantive. Two hundred year-old Cherokee skinwalker with magical abilities. Reads a lot like books from Patricia Briggs, Kelley Armstrong, and other authors like them.
