I read it 3 year ago and let me tell you: I HATE IT. If I could give it a 0 I would.

It's the basic cliché teen romance book with the white girl and her step brother who isn't really her step brother, Tyler, who is also a fucking jerk but who got daddy issues so it's okay if he got severe anger issues cause poor boy went through a lot.

Tyler is a bad boy, (drug addict aswell) and he's dating this girl who is also the cliché of the annoying popular girl in every straight romance book (her name is Tiffany for god sake) and she was shown as a slut who wear mini skirt AND THIS WAS PISSING ME OFF.
CAUSE IF YOU WANT TO CREATE AN ANNOYING CHARACTER ? OKAY GO ON. BUT WEARING A MINI SKIRT AND A CROP TOP DOESNT MAKE YOU A SLUT AND IF SHE WAS THEN GOOD FOR HER, IT DOESNT MEAN SHES A BAD PERSON.

Where is the "girl support girl ?" I have no clue, if you find it in this book tell me.
The main character, Eden, was the biggest pick me ever, the "im not like the other girls" type of vibe, and so judgemental cause okay Tiffany was annoying but stop judging the way she dresses and how much makeup she's wearing. Cause AGAIN wearing makeup doesn't make her a bad person and it doesn't mean she wants boys' attention.

And Eden was like "I can fix him", no shut up and live the life that a 16 years old girl should be living and stop thinking that you can change him and help him with his addiction just by "loving" him. It was so annoying and toxic.

This book is problematic, it romanticise abuse, there's a lot of slut shamming, toxic relationship and possessivity are pictured as hot or cute or whatever.

This book is REALLY bad.
