The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James

4.0

This is Simone St. James third book and I have read them all. St. James writes a mean crime novel with a ghostly twist. Her plots are tight and her characters are realistic and fully fleshed out - even the characters who are ghosts. This book deals with a series of unsolved murders dating back to 1977, and a crime blogger (a crime victim herself who narrowly escaped being a murder victim) who is obsessed with the case. This was an enjoyable page turner, even though her first book, The Broken Girls, remains my favorite.
