I loved learning about these exceptional people, but would also loved to have had a chapter on just regular, boring bureaucrats who keep everything running across changing laws and administrations. The people who know how to get your birth certificate, who post agendas and minutes to keep records open, who know the laws and procedures by heart. Those are the people who save the higher ups every single day.
