A Confederacy of Dunces
by John Kennedy Toole
I'm most sad that we have nothing to read about the author's commentary on his own work! A true work of Southern gothic family dynamics. Yes, there is plenty to offend the sensibilities of today's readers, or yesteryear's for that matter. That's the point, though. This book should have a resurgence of readers as we all try to better understand Trump's America. I highly recommend the audio recording.
