This is the first book in the Vampire Navy SEAL series. Sam Mason is one of the most powerful vampires in the vampire navy SEAL. Layla is part of one of the most famous vampire hunters family. Layla and her sisters are on the outside with their uncles. They take a job that is way out of their skill set. They got set up to fail. Eventhough Sam and Layla should be enemies they are drawn to each other. The storyline of the Mason vampires is very interesting and unique. This book does end on one heck of a cliffhanger! I can't wait for the next book. Cecily Foster and Blake Lockheart did a fantastic job narrating this book.
