This Kindle freebie was okay, even good in parts, but had such an absurd start that I never took the rest of the book seriously. The reader is to believe that the small town "good girl" decides that, since she's 31 and wants a baby, it would cause less scandal to go get pregnant by a stranger than use donor sperm. Really?

Some parts of the book are well done, but I never connected with either lead and the abrupt ending didn't help.
