PS. This rating rests solely on the fact that the author explored the theme of career anxiety plus the stress of medical school/profession on young doctors well.
This was supposed to be a romance but I didn't feel any butterflies nor did I lose myself in the budding relationship between our protagonists. It was very average, very lukewarm. Also VERY Issa Rae Insecure coded TF!
I hated the over-explanation by the author. You do NOT need to clarify everything. At some point you need to believe that your readers are not dumb and if they are, they sure have access to google babes.
