The Thirteen Problems by Agatha Christie
3.0
"...I protest that the ladies have not done their fair share."
"Oh!" said Mrs Bantry with indignation. "I’m sure we have. We’ve listened with the most intelligent appreciation. We’ve displayed the true womanly attitude – not wishing to thrust ourselves in the limelight!"
I usually really don't like taking my detective stories straight. I don't really read them much (unless they are part of for example fantasy novel) and even when they are part of the story, I usually don't care much about them either way. I really love Miss Marple as a character though... so, I picked this up as an experiment and it wasn't an unpleasant experience. I'm going to pick up the next book in the series sometimes next year! I think a full novel would work even better for me - than this, kind of pseudo short-story collection.
Ha! See? I can write a short review when I want!
