Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills

5.0

Oh, Iris. Iris, Iris, Iris. Intense, obsessive, alienating Iris. Happy crier, idiot piner, giver of zero fucks and simultaneously a lot of fucks Iris. Blunt, selfish asshole with the emotional range of a teaspoon Iris. I need someone to read this novel and reassure me Iris and I are not the same person. Stat.

In other news, I enjoyed this book in a way I haven't enjoyed reading in awhile. It was exactly my sense of humor and there were a lot of #relationshipgoals moments. Like I would work the standing in line for funnel cake and driving to bus stop bits into wedding vows level of #goals moments.

Plus there were boy bands and Shakespeare and MMORPGs, and "nine inch subs, fifty percent more than a six-inch Subway sub" sandwiches.

I liked it kind of a lot?

And laughed out loud a ton?
