Stunned
I’m left stunned again by another great read.
This book has a strong FMC and an equally strong and sexy mafia boss. I love how the love story between Joseph and Adria shine through the violence of mob life. Their undying love for each other leaves me breathless.
“I would take you to hell and back if that is what you asked of me.”
I really relate to Adria’s resolve to stand by her man during troubled times and being his partner to the end. That is one of the sexiest things in this book. Don’t sweat it, there are plenty of spicy scenes but the way they take care of each other completely melts me.
“I will not lose you Joseph. If you must stay and fight this war, so do I.”
There were some unexpected twists and turns that had me puzzled while reading and hope that there will be future books out to explain Joseph’s sister for one. I am looking forward to the possibility of more stories centered around Joseph and Adria’s son. As well as, reading Heidi and Leo’s story.
I love that the FMC is a big, beautiful woman and can relate to the way Adria thinks of herself as I too battle my own self image demons and body dysmorphia.
