I am absolutely obsessed with Livvy and Gareth! They are both such fantastic characters in their own and together they make such an entertaining pair to read about.

I also adored reading about the returning cast as I have obviously read the previous books in the series and am in love with all the characters.
It was so lovely to see Evie and Mateo’s relationship grow in the background of this story and the addition of their triplets, as they of course hold a special place in my heart as the first couple of this series
. Juliette Cross does a fantastic job and centralising the main couple but continue to develop and showcase the rest of the ensemble cast.

The plot of this book was also quite good. I felt it handled a difficult topic somewhat well with a satisfying conclusion.

Also, as an avid reader of this series, I am so beyond happy that we have finally learnt more about the grims! I have been so deeply curious about the supernatural subclass and am so glad we finally have answers.

Overall, I deeply enjoyed this book, the couple is fantastic, the plot is engaging and the ensemble cast was as fun as ever.
