Shadowland
by Meg Cabot
Reading this book as an adult was no less of an entertaining experience as it was for me as a teen. I still love Suze, Jesse, and Father Dom, and it's been fun returning to these characters and this story from the very beginning of the series. That being said, there are moments surrounding the history of Father Serra and the native Americans that did make me wince. Overall, the mediator is still a really fun YA that I'd happily revisit again in a couple of years.
