Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

5.0

4.5⭐️

What I loved most was definitely seeing Lina (and Hadley) evolve during her time in Florence, proving the fact that you can really change as a person by moving to a completely new place. It was by far the highlight of Love & Gelato for me and made the book just so much better. Other than that, I can’t say many negative things about it. Characters, storyline, development, setting (heavy on that), writing, yeah all thumbs up. Only reason it’s 0.5 off 5 stars is because there was some stereotyping, not enough to make a big deal of it and take 1 or more stars off but I hate stereotyping nonetheless.

Also little thing I noticed is that Lina and Hadley’s whole love fiasco thing mirrored each other’s in a lot of different ways. Thought that was a interesting detail

Bottom line is that this is a good book, read it, & preferably while you’re on holiday, and even more preferably while you’re on summer holiday in Italy. Trust me it’ll make the reading experience better
