With this book, J. Saman has solidified herself as a one-click author for me. Two books, could just be a good series, all the books in the series plus the ones I’m now devouring outside the series all being perfection? means she’s an amazing author you need to be stalking.
THE CHEMISTRY! Landon was the most broken of the siblings and I was so nervous for his book, because I just want him happy. And my goodness if Elle doesn’t make him happy!
Elle is fresh from leaving her awful husband and finds Landon on his rare night out away from his single dad duties. After this meeting, we find two people who are lost and hurt trying to make the most of a not ideal situation.
Landon’s character development was great. He’s had the biggest demons so far and he learns to believe that he is allowed to accept love again. His heart-to-heart with Stella toward the end was really special. Elle had to learn to accept that she is worthwhile regardless of any mistakes or missteps. Their relationship heals each other.
Let me tell you, the nod to Luca’s book— I mean, we love a man who pines for years!
