Wow, that was a really good fairytale. It's no brainer that this was a retelling of Aladdin mixed with the Howl´s moving castle. We have a magic flying carpet, a genie and a intelligent & strong minded princess. There are also many shenanigans of a guy who starts being overly polite and by that getting shit from everybody, and ends learning to stand for himself.
I love how, even though the super powerful wizards are normally men in this books, with have some awesome, strong and badass women that get shit done and are not waiting for those powerful wizards to rescue them. Life goals.
Just one advice. Almost anyone in this books, as far as I can tell, is not what they seem to be. They are all enchanted. Like I wasn’t surprised anymore that at the end of this book everyone started to turn back to their original selfs. I kind know it will come to that and it was fun guessing who is who, even though I really only guessed right one.
This story is really fun and light, perfect to enjoy and relax with. It won’t make you have deep thought about the nature of humanity or something like that so it’s perfect as a in between book.
I’m really can’t wait to read the last one in the series, fortunately I won’t have to Wait long.
