This was such an easy, enjoyable read! I really liked it, even if it didn’t completely blow me away (in the best “hit by a train” kind of way, haha). The story was engaging, but what truly stood out to me were the characters. I loved them—especially the hockey boys. They had me laughing out loud more than once!
Anastasia and Nate’s chemistry was undeniable, and I loved following their journey. Nate set such a high standard—his love for Anastasia was beautiful to read, and she truly deserved him. On the flip side, Aaron drove me absolutely crazy. The way he treated Anastasia was heartbreaking, and their toxic friendship was written so well that it made me hate him even more.
If I had one critique, it would be that Nate’s backstory could have gone deeper. His emotional struggles and family dynamics were touched on, but I think exploring them further would have added even more depth to his character.
Overall, though, I had a great time with this book. The story was fun, the characters were memorable, and it kept me entertained from start to finish.
