When in Rome
by Sarah Adams
I really enjoyed this one! I'm pretty sure this is only my third book by this author and I wasn't thrilled by the first one but then after a long break the second I read was actually the book that comes after this one, and I enjoyed it so much I wanted to go back to start the series. I'd heard from people that this one was good but not as good as book two and I'm not sure I agree! They're difference vibes in some ways but I liked the Notting Hill-esque story of a pop star (Amelia) hiding out with the every man (Noah) and it was just as emotional and tension filled as the other one. Adams is very good at writing tender, slightly heartbreaking moments before things resolve at the end. I am definitely more on board with her now and see why people love her. Now, time to read book 3 and then wait with everyone else until book 4 comes out next year.
