Though the series is getting a little formulaic -- Vic reluctantly roped into an investigate by a friend or family member, breaks into a corporate office at night, almost dies, wins the day... -- I'm still enjoying it, especially because the characters (those that warrant more than a passing reference) are so great. And this book especially developed both Mr. C's and Lotty's, two of my favorites.
