Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
1.0
This was finished purely out of spite. The author writes every woman like an accumulation of flaws, relying on stereotypes and hatred. Even for 2006, there were parts of this novel that felt like it was pulled straight from the 60s. And the way literal children were described in this book--just beyond vulgar. If you want to read this book, I highly encourage you to check all of the content warnings.
