What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions
by Randall Munroe
It took me a long time to read this, mostly because I'd read a section or two and then forgot I owned the book. Luckily, Goodreads kept reminding me. It sat there in my "Currently Reading" column as a gentle reminder to finish it already!
Marking this book as non-fiction gives me a bit of a chuckle because the scenarios described were preposterously outrageous and read more like science fiction. In truth, I wondered how many of these questions were proposed by scifi writers because...well, they were out there. Luckily, the author's sense of humor made what could have been some very boring reading into a kind of scientific comedy.
