AD-PR thank you to the publisher for a copy of this book.
This was such a surprise, and certainly didn't go in the direction I thought it would. Left me guessing throughout.
I liked the exploration of grief, loneliness, and mental health. Although it has serious topics at its heart, the dialogue feels light and accessible whilst remaining sensitive to what it's covering.
I love cats, so was nice to see them play a central role.
Overall I really enjoyed it, and it really picked up for me in the second half, making me devour the pages.
