Review: THANK YOU!!! I guess I needed was some muchness and some nonsense…. I was already mad ( pun intended) so this is the perfect book to undertake. Of course this is a reread and a much loved classic masterpiece. This copy of Alice was a unbirthday gift ( it was before my birthday) gift from my bestie Briana Briggs this beautifully creepy version is both stunning and Mad!!!

Let’s begin at the ending or maybe at the beginning….. it’s hard to know when you are reviewing wonderland. My grandma was an artist and took me to art classes with her, she pointed out every kind of art style that she could including a beautiful artistic movie of Alice in wonderland…. This led to the book which led to my favorite 90 movie of Alice in wonderland…. Moving to the live action…. And ending with let’s read Alice in wonderland retellings. But as any good retelling review knows always read the original. But I forgot so I’m reading it in the middle!!!

The world of wonderland rivals nothing as it is so vivid and magical you fall down the rabbit hole with Alice and find yourself curiouser and curiouser immersed in this beautifully written story. It is both lighthearted and nonsensical but you love it the same …. or at least I do….. if you haven’t read this lately it is time to dust off your shelf and reread. If you don’t own it …. Why? Why don’t you own it?

The characters are iconic and fun my personal favorite is the mad hatter. In a retelling if he is not done well you can kick it down stairs, because I will order off with the books head!!!
( you tired of the puns yet cause I could do this all day)

The plot is childlike nonsense that is incredibly innocent and sweet. But who needs a plot in wonderland I think it would be illegal. “Nonsense we simply can’t do with out it. “
