Niall picks up from the events after Finn. And boy did things escalate in the best way possible!
Niall and Anna had such a sweet and caring love story. Niall was hesitant in pursuing a relationship at first, but he quickly embraced his feelings and turned into this gruff, protective teddy bear who I couldn't help but love. Anna was such a tough character, and my heart warmed at seeing her finally experience all the love she deserves.
I loved the suspense aspect (pretty predictable, but I'm not mad about it) and how the plot flowed overall. And that epilogue was everything!!! Dare I say it wrapped up the duet so well that it alone can be a good enough reason to finish it.
That said, I couldn't recommend this duet enough!
tw: kidnapping, death, gun violence, blood
I received an ARC & ALC of this book in exchange for an honest review. A big thank you to Melanie Moreland!
