Murderbot is a hoot.
He claims to hate humans, and one could argue that his protects the clients because he's programmed to, but I think he does it because he does care, not just about not being found out as being hacked, but because doing his job is like living in a soap opera, except you're also one of the stars. And for a bot who loves soap operas, it seems fitting that he is living one.
