My Husband by Maud Ventura

5.0

4.5/5

This book completely surprised me! My Husband is an unsettling, obsessive, and deeply psychological look into the mind of a woman consumed by love—or maybe something darker. The writing pulled me in right away, and I was hooked on the narrator’s increasingly unsettling devotion to her husband.

Maud Ventura does an incredible job of making the reader question everything. Is this a love story? A thriller? A character study of obsession and control? The tension kept building in such a subtle way that by the time I reached the end, I was fully immersed in her world.

I loved how unsettling it felt, and the way the narrator's thoughts and actions made me both fascinated and uneasy. The writing was sharp, and the story unfolded in a way that kept me turning the pages, unsure of what would happen next.

If you love books that explore the complexities of relationships with an eerie, psychological edge, this one is worth picking up!
