A cozy queer rom-com that very much embodies the Princess Diaries comparison, complete with a few winks and nods, with a couple additional homages to Casey McQuiston's Red White and Royal Blue. It's excellent low stakes "happy ending" escapism, which is what many of us are in need of right now, even if some of the conflict comes off as a tad contrived as a result.
