It was so nice to finally dive back into the world of Taylor Greer and her adopted daughter Turtle.

The way that Kingsolver introduces new characters is much like how they are typically introduced in a film. There is first an introductory scene before the secondary characters cross paths with the MCs. I enjoy it, but also I am thrown off when it occurs. However, it almost always creates irony, which I enjoy!

I thought the ending was good, although I wish there was an  epilogue just to see more with how Turtle ended up changing from the events in the conclusion.
