Remembrance by Jude Deveraux

Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

I ended up skimming a lot of this book to find the action. And I do mean the action, not sex scenes. The plot doesn't drive itself so much as plod along in many spaces. The main character isn't terribly likable, which does the plot and "tension" no favors. The main love interest isn't too great either.

I'm usually a fan of the "lovers through different lives" or "soul mates" trope, but this time it fell flat for me.
