The last 40% of the book made up for the really slow start. I was getting a bit pissed off towards the start. Oh my god we get it Florence, he's 6'3 and sooo much bigger than you. And dead. This is such a pet peeve. But then it picked up when we got to the funeral mark and beyond. I really like how Ashley Poston tackles grief in her books - it was the same with the Seven Year Slip, I feel like she really accurately describes the waves in which it comes and goes. Benji is an excellent ghost boyfriend.
It was cliche enough that I kind of wished we had a ghost dad moment with Flo and Xavier but alas, I'm a sucker for these things.
