This is a really interesting anthology, with lots of different moods and ideas. In this book you'll find fairy tales, creation myths, personal accounts, and odd little snippets of worlds you don't get to read about for very long.
There were a couple of the stories I didn't feel like I 'got', or got me, but for the most part I really enjoyed it.
My favourites in this book are 'The Evening and the Morning and the Night' by Octavia E. Butler, 'The Grammarian's Five Daughters' by Eleanor Arnason, 'The Screwfly Solution' by James Tiptree Jr., and 'Thirteen Ways of Looking at Space/Time' by Catherynne M. Valente, and I would give them all individually 5 stars.
