There were major plot and character developments with delicious twists galore. Ms. Carriger even got me to root for a friends-to-lovers pairing, a minor miracle. It was a rousing good time and I am excited to see these characters again in The Custard Protocol series. I wouldn’t buy this series, but I would read it again.
