Another thrilling and emotional tale of the Poldark family. If you’ve read the last book you know that our heroes are in dire straits which gives this book a darker tone with a heavy line of tension throughout. This book acts as an intermediary as it is really more about resolving plot threads from Demelza than about introducing its own story. Don’t get me wrong though there is much new to enjoy. It just doesn’t have the same sprawling packed feel of the first two books. Regardless this is a great book and will keep you hooked deeply into Ross and Demelza’s story
