Witch-Cult Abbey
by Mark Samuels
Atmospheric and genuinely scary, in the tradition of Lovecraft, as far as vocabulary and prose are concerned. Not spectacular plot-wise; despite some classic Samuelisms (concerning texts, books, and language) this is a Gothic story of diabolism and witchcraft with clearly defined aspects of good and evil.
