I was super excited for this book to come out. I loved That's Not My Name. Maybe I built myself up too much for this book. When your first book is amazing, the second book can be difficult to reach that level. There is hope for the third book, though, and I will be reading it. Everyone has one mediocre book.

Am I sorry I read this? No. I liked it. The last part did have me hooked even though I knew the who. I didn't love the characters, but I did go to high school, so I knew them. Not to the extent of this book, but there are Claire's, Brooke's, Jena's, Felix's, and Dylan's in every school. For me, it was just a bit predictable, a bit unbelievable (I can suspend belief for a story) and didn't hold me the same way as That's Not My Name (if you haven't read that, try it).
