Since the last book, things have been very different from the first few books. But! Everything went back to normal by the end of the book. I did like getting different viewpoints throughout the story, especially Goliath. However, I could have done without Johnny's constant lust after other women - it was just too much. I get that his inner beast was the cause but still, I didn't want to hear it when I'm also reading Persephone's story and she's just a total mess while he's off ogling his assistant. Thankfully the book started feeling more like the earlier books in the series about halfway through. It'll be interesting to see what happens with all the new characters! The multiple narrators is interesting, but I still want mostly Seph, Menessos, and Johnny telling their stories. Can't wait for the next book!
