I listened to the audiobook narrated by Mary Lewis. This is a beautiful story about love, family and loss. Based on the actual event of the Ocean Ranger capsizing off the coast of Newfoundland. Lisa Moore brings a light to the ever sad event.
While I enjoyed the narration of the story, the writing format was not a favourite as its one where the timeline jumps back and forth between timelines.
Definitely not one of my normal reads but being Canadian myself, this was a pleasant read and I even learned some more history 😋
