I generally liked this book until Glass joined up the voyageurs at Fort Brazeau… then I just found myself terribly bored and thinking about what I was going to read next instead. The writing is well done, I think there were just too many liberties taken with the story itself for me to appreciate it as a historical account and the pacing definitely left something to be desired.
