The first book in the series of PSI ops books but ties into the immortal ops - which I love.
Duke is like Roi, a bit grumpy but oh so loveable. He is busy hitting out one fingered reports when he gets a phone call from a sexy but bat shit crazy voice. Little does he know the voice belongs to his mate, who is a Pixie although she is unaware of her lineage or that she can turn bad guys bones to goo. I enjoyed the two main characters and all the other team members and am looking forward to reading their stories.
The reason this book did not get four stars: there were some editing issues in the e-version. Not horrific but enough that I noticed it. Words that were jumbled or didn't make sense. The second reason it didn't get another star is because

during the final battle Duke gets stuck in wolf form and takes his mates virginity on a cold stone cell floor while chained. I dunno, wasn't my thing reallyLooking forward to more in the series
