Famous Last Words by C.W. Farnsworth

2.0

Going to be real honest here, wanted to get my mind off things and i saw this 3.97 rated sports romance and decided to read it. Started off really nice (potential enemies to lovers) but over time it felt flat. Im not a fan of the "enemies" with benefits but i decided to give this a benefit of doubt. Connor is a shitty man, called the alleged woman he's hooking up with "sloppy seconds" only to show his friends that he still has his male ego intact. That was the start of the downfall but I really wanted to see how the author would tackle the whole Half- brother, parents and the messy trope. I really hated it how Harlow had to be the mediator every time something went wrong in the family, how none of the guys really thought about the effect their words would have on her. Esp Connor, deranged ass man who left his "girlfriend" on her bday but okay still manageable, the worst thing that threw me off was his sloppy ass begging for forgiveness with zero grovel LIKE ??? Anyways i just guess C.W Farnsworth isn't for me because i dont like any of the books i've read of hers so far
