The Other Woman's House: A Zailer and Waterhouse Mystery by Sophie Hannah

3.0

A little long in my opinion, but still a good mystery/thriller. I think the main character (Connie) was irritating beyond belief. I understand how exhausted she must have felt, but good grief...try to compose yourself a little instead of sounding SO crazy all of the time! Also, I think the whole Charlie/Simon relationship is SO weird and if nothing is going to happen then why keep talking about them?? I honestly think they weren't even essential to the plot of this book so I'm not even sure why they were included in the first place. I agree with many other reviewers who say this book could have been shortened if the author cut out half of the BS characters/dialogue that wasn't necessary. That being said, I was still interested in the book and I really wanted to know what had happened so on the mystery aspect of the book, it was good. The mystery kept me engaged and got me through to the end, despite the conclusion being a bit convoluted and hard to understand at first.
