If nothing else, this book reminded me that, despite growing up in a not very open-minded-to-queer-people world, Rickie Vasquez of My So-Called Life just went straight to my heart. I adored him. So hey, friendly reminder that representation matters for kids who aren't members of certain groups too.

(This book was a fun time, I just felt like there wasn't a *ton* of new stuff, and I wish there'd been a bit more of a throughline connecting the shows and why the author chose them to feature.)
