i gotta go back to work so rtc BUT just know i had thee time of my life and am utterly heartbroken bc of two things: the actual events and two the fact that this COULDVE been a 5 star book but wasnt because of the way awad fumbled part 3 so bad. that being said i will never ever forget page 137 and the irreparable damage it has done to me. "didn't she kill a spider for me once?" bitch im getting chills just THINKING ABOUT IT!! SOMEBODY LOCK ME UP FOR WHT IM ABT TO DO TO THESE FUCKING BITCH BUNNY GIRLS T_T

okay so bunny. a solid 4* that i wish wasnt a 4*. in one of my updates i said reading this was like watching a train crash, explode, and set off a bunch of cataclysmic events and this is true for the first two parts. the third? not so much but we'll get to that later. the FUN i had reading this, the DRAMA, i feel like by the end of this summer, it'll be one of my fav reads! i love-hated samantha and saw so much of myself in her (a lil TOO much for my liking! rejoice in the feeling of shared community yes yes ik but at some point it gets embarrassing and thts where im at rn). imo awad did a great job with her unraveling, and nailing just how important her rxshp with ava was. the writing itself is unique for sure and i found myself (sometimes) cringing at smackie's voice (not in an ugh way but omfg she really thinks like this way. very late 2010s tumblr, again sometimes) and on the next page being in awe at a description so luxe!
this all being said the absolute whirlwind of the first two parts feel like they got the wind knocked out of them bc of how lackluster part three was. compared to everything else its like what did u just spend 200smth pages building up to? neverending descriptions of a boy 2013 wattpad writer nao would fawn over? go on and on about his scissor smile and razor blade lips? girl WHO GIVE A FUCK
