This book did not do it for me. It's an age gap romance with the MCs ages 17 and 39. Too large of a gap, and the references to her being a teenager/child made this book creepy.
I also hated the style of writing for the Male MC. He has an accent and the book is written 100 percent in that accent. Words like "before" have now become 'fore, as well as "you" becoming ya, and every word ending in -ing being shortened with an apostrophe (in').
