This really picked up in the second section, thankfully. Slow to start but I really enjoyed it by the end. Saying that, though, the ending felt really unsatisfying - I think I wanted a little 1 year later chapter to see her development? But maybe that’s wishful thinking and I should be happy with the slow progress she made within the book.
