scythefranz 's review for:
Dangerous Girls
by Abigail Haas
Mindfuck.
Yes. but not really. Because, the first I opened and read the book I think I saw it coming already. I am 51% sure about who's the killer. And that is because of your reviews, guys. I am blaming you all! Hahaha! Anyway, I still gave it 5 stars, though, because Dangerous Girls is really incredible, amazing, captivating, and unputdownable. A dangerous book that made me insane (sort of) and continuously mini-stunned me like I was hit by the Monkey King Bar (item in DoTA). Seriously though, this book is so fucking manipulative just like Gone Girl. Oh my god. I've read it in one day and this is a rare case for me because I usually read a 400-page book for two days so...
Yet, of course, even I 51%-saw-it coming, I still have doubts with my theories and predictions and that is solely because of the author. Haas was truly a great writer with a believable and compelling writing style. Her storytelling is so fucking entangling and enthralling that I'm turning pages in a heartbeat. Her words seemed like had charms.
The characters were so real and believable and I tell you I am so fucking angry with the antagonists of this book. The mood and the scenarios perfectly blended and the back story really helped a lot to build up the plot. Truly, a remarkable and mindfucking reading experience. I am very pleased.
Mindfuck.
Yes but not really. Though, the way the ending has been delivered is truly bewildered, surprised and shocked me. I don't know anymore.
